Our occupational health interventions are designed to generate the most positive possible outcome for both employee and employer. This involves focusing on an employee’s capabilities rather than their limitations and working with businesses to introduce workable, cost-effective adjustments which allow valued employees to return to work.
Experience in ill health retirements
There will always be instances, however, when a return to work simply isn’t feasible and ill health retirement is the only option. We have extensive experience in managing ill health retirements and only use specialist occupational health physicians who assess the employee and provide evidence-based advice in line with the terms of our clients’ pension schemes. We have a nationwide network of occupational health physicians and a company Medical Director, all of whom are available to give an independent medical opinion where required.
Proactive strategies
When working with our clients on reducing sickness absence, we identify any cases which could potentially go on to require an ill health retirement and implement strategies to reduce the likelihood of that happening.
