Pre-employment questionnaires

Our pre-employment health screening services centre around detailed questionnaires designed to assess the fitness of an individual to undertake a proposed job role. Our pre-employment questionnaires are devised by our highly experienced clinical team and comply with all statutory and ethical requirements. The questionnaires are always specifically tailored to the job role in question.

Quick and convenient

Pre-employment questionnaires can be completed either via our website or on paper: whichever option you choose the results will be fed back to you quickly and within a previously agreed turnaround time.

The report

Completed questionnaires are analysed by one of our experienced Occupational Health nurses and the feedback presented in the form of a clear and unambiguous report. This report contains:

•    An assessment of the potential employee’s fitness to carry out the job role
•    Advice on any necessary health surveillance, screening or risk assessments
•    Advice on any adjustments to the working environment or the job role that may be required in the light of a medical condition or a disability, as defined under the Disability Discrimination Act 2005

Consultations

As part of the pre-employment screening process we also offer remote and face-to-face consultations with an experienced OH nurse or physician where appropriate.

Risk profiles

We would usually recommend a risk profile is carried out to accompany the pre-employment questionnaire, and would conduct baseline assessments (e.g. audiometry or spirometry) where potential exposure to hazards was identified.
